Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration and independence.
- Observe, assess and monitor children's development to support their individual progress.
- Adapt activities and learning experiences to meet the varying needs and abilities of all pupils.
- Promote children's social, emotional, communication and language development.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
- Establish positive routines and expectations to support children' learning and development.
- Contribute to the wider Early Years provision and school community.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Early Years is desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
- A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Committed to supporting every child to achieve their full potential.
