Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified KS2 Teacher for a three-form entry primary school in Hayes, West London, starting in January 2027.

The school offers a supportive senior leadership team, medium-sized classes and on-site parking. This is an opportunity for a teacher looking for a full-time, long-term position in a primary setting with support from colleagues and school leadership.

The Role

Plan and deliver lessons across the KS2 curriculum, adapting teaching to meet pupils' learning needs.
Assess pupils' progress and use this information to inform future planning.
Establish clear classroom routines and maintain positive behaviour expectations.
Create an inclusive learning environment where pupils are supported to make progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the phase to support teaching and learning.
Maintain accurate records and follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies.

School and Working Details

Location: Hayes, West London.
School: Three-form entry primary school.
Start date: January 2027.
Contract: Long-term temporary assignment, with the expected end date to be confirmed.
Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 8:15am-4:00pm.
Class sizes: Medium-sized classes.
Leadership: Supportive senior leadership team.
Parking: On-site parking available.
Salary: 39,196- 52,241 per annum, equivalent to the 2026/27 Outer London Main Pay Range (M1-M6), subject to confirmation of the school's pay arrangements and the applicable pay point. Actual earnings for a temporary assignment will reflect the period and days worked.

Who Should Apply?

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Primary teaching experience, ideally within KS2.
Confidence in planning, delivering and assessing lessons.
Effective classroom management and the ability to establish positive relationships with pupils.
