Are you a Maths graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education? Do you have a passion for mathematics and a desire to help students reach their full potential?

We are currently recruiting Graduate Maths Teaching Assistants to work in a secondary school in Wood Green, North London, starting immediately. These are excellent long-term opportunities for graduates who are keen to support students in Maths and develop their experience within a school environment.

The Role

• Supporting students with Maths during lessons and providing additional help where needed.
• Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce key mathematical concepts.
• Helping students develop their confidence, problem-solving skills and understanding of the curriculum.
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom management.
• Encouraging positive engagement, participation and behaviour in lessons.
• Providing tailored support to students who may need additional help with their learning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Must hold a degree in Mathematics or a Maths-related subject.
• Ideally, have previous experience working in a school or supporting young people.
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths.
• Be confident communicating mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Have a patient, supportive and proactive approach to working with students.
• Be enthusiastic about helping young people achieve their academic potential.
• Be available to start immediately and commit to a long-term role.
