Tradewind Recruitment is working with a wide range of secondary schools across Canterbury and the surrounding areas who regularly require experienced and enthusiastic Supply Teachers across a variety of subjects.
We are currently seeking teachers for full-time and part-time supply roles, including day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments.
We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers specialising in STEM subjects, including:
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Science)
- Mathematics
- Computing / Computer Science
- Design & Technology
- Engineering-related subjects

The Role:
- Deliver engaging lessons across your subject specialism.
- Teach pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate).
- Follow school lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Adapt quickly to different schools, departments and teaching styles.
- Support students with their learning and progress.
We are looking for teachers who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
- Are confident managing classroom behaviour.
- Are passionate about their subject and inspiring young people.
- Are reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality teaching.
