About the Role
Are you an experienced, resilient, and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role where you can truly transform young lives? We are working in partnership with a dynamic Alternative Provision (AP) setting in Burnley that caters to students who have disengaged from mainstream education or require specialised social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) support. - Track & Report Progress: Monitor student engagement, assess academic and emotional progress, and document outcomes using Personalised Intervention Plans (PIPs).
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to tailor support strategies to individual student needs.
- Build Resilience: Act as a positive role model, fostering trust and rapport with vulnerable young people to improve their self-esteem and independence.
