Location: Thanet (Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Westgate-on-Sea & Birchington)
Pay: £100 - £120 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Thanet. We have flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available, making this an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches and those with transferable skills.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning while their teacher is absent.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4)
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students with their learning where required
- Work across a variety of subjects - no planning or marking required
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with young people, either in education, coaching, youth work or similar settings
- Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are adaptable, reliable and organised
- Hold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
- Have the right to work in the UK
