Behaviour Mentor - Tower Hamlets
Location: East London. Position: Full Time Behaviour Mentor. Type of School: Secondary SEND School (EBD / SEMH). Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am - 4pm.
- Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
- Implement school behaviour management policies, de-escalation strategies and emotional regulation techniques.
- Act as a positive role model.
- Collaborate closely with Teachers, SENCo and the Safeguarding Team.
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs in a school, youth or care setting.
- A calm and resilient approach to support and any possible challenging situations.
- An enhanced DBS.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form rapport with students.
This role is paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
