Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed specialist teacher to support young people in a dedicated secondary-age provision for pupils with additional needs, including autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The setting places importance on personalised learning, positive relationships, practical life skills and helping students prepare for further education, employment and greater independence. We're interested in teachers who can combine strong professional practice with patience, consistency and a clear understanding of inclusive education. You'll ideally have:

  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience in specialist education or transferable skills supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • An understanding of autism, communication differences, sensory needs or SEMH.
