The Opportunity
As an Art & Design Teacher, you will support secondary schools across Bristol, delivering engaging lessons across the Art & Design curriculum. You may be required to teach across different year groups and abilities, helping pupils develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a range of artistic techniques and creative processes
- Prepare pupils for GCSE Art & Design where required
- Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom routines
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on pupils' work
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different abilities
- Work across different secondary schools on a flexible basis
