Science remains an important area of recruitment for schools, and we are keen to hear from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general Science.
Our partner schools regularly require teachers for:

- Fixed-term contracts

We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to establish their career in a supportive secondary school environment.
The role
Depending on the opportunity, you could be teaching KS3 Science, GCSE Science or individual Biology, Chemistry or Physics courses at KS4 and KS5.
You may be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual students
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with Science department colleagues
We're looking for:
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- A relevant Science degree or teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for Science and student achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
