Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-established secondary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a committed Science Teacher to join its department from either November 2026 or January 2027 .
The school is looking for a teacher who can bring enthusiasm, strong subject knowledge, and a positive approach to the classroom. You will become part of a supportive Science department that works collaboratively to deliver an ambitious curriculum and help students achieve their full potential.
The role would suit an experienced Science Teacher or ECT looking for a supportive environment in which to develop and progress their career.
The Role
You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4 , helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and practical investigation.
Depending on your experience and specialism, there may also be opportunities to teach KS5 .
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics alongside your preferred area of specialism.
Use practical experiments and demonstrations to bring scientific concepts to life.
Create an inclusive classroom where students feel confident asking questions and developing their ideas.
Set high expectations for behaviour, effort, and academic achievement.
Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback....
