URGENT VACANCY - APPLY NOW! A highly regarded primary school in St Albans is looking to appoint an experienced Year 1 Teacher for an immediate start , initially on a long-term temporary basis through to the end of the academic year.

The role involves a small Year 1 class with two supportive TAs already in place.
SEN EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL . The successful teacher will need to be confident supporting pupils with additional learning needs and adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, working closely with two experienced and supportive TAs to provide engaging, inclusive and well-structured learning.
The school is looking for a confident teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships, maintain high expectations and create a calm, purposeful classroom where every child can make progress.
We Are Looking For
QTS with recent Year 1 / KS1 teaching experience
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is essential
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confident differentiating and adapting teaching for additional needs
Good knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics
A nurturing, patient and inclusive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Someone available to start immediately
