Art / DT Technician
Are you an experienced Art / DT Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in a welcoming and inspiring school environment?
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Art / DT Technician to join a lovely school in Croydon.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, strong practical and technical knowledge across Art and/or Design & Technology, and a genuine passion for supporting creative learning.
A relevant degree is preferred , alongside excellent organisational skills and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organise and maintain materials, tools and equipment for Art and DT lessons.
- Support teachers and students with practical activities and creative projects.
- Ensure workshops, studios and equipment are safe, clean and well maintained.
- Manage stock levels and order materials and resources when required.
- Provide practical and technical support across the Art and DT departments.
- Contribute to a positive, creative and engaging learning environment.
- Follow and promote appropriate health and safety procedures.
