Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield, supporting young people aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and communication needs.
The Role
You will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons while supporting pupils' communication, independence, emotional regulation and life skills.
About You
- Has QTS and experience teaching SEN and/or autism.
- Can adapt teaching to individual needs.
- Is calm, patient and resilient.
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Works effectively with support staff and other professionals.
- Team Teach training/experience is highly desirable, although equivalent behaviour-support training will be considered.
Pay
£150-£230 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and training. To access the higher rate, candidates should have relevant specialist SEN/autism experience, appropriate training and be available full-time. The school will make the final decision on the rate offered.
