SEND Teaching Assistant - Bebington
Location: Bebington, Wirral
Start Date: Monday 21st September 2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2027
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: £92.56 - £100.00 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Bebington.
This role would suit someone with experience supporting children with additional needs who is looking for a rewarding, long-term position.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to provide targeted support to pupils both within the classroom and through small-group interventions.
The role will include:
- Supporting pupils with SEND
- Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Supporting communication and social development
- Helping pupils regulate their emotions
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
The school is looking for someone who is patient, consistent, nurturing and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children.
This is a full-time position until July 2027, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to become an established member of the school community.
