Salary: £34,068 - £52,843 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: PAYE
The Role
As a Music Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire students through both practical and theoretical music education.
You'll be responsible for creating engaging lessons that encourage creativity, confidence and a genuine love of music.
Your responsibilities will include
- Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching desirable.
- Creating innovative and inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
- Supporting and contributing to school concerts, recitals and musical events.
- Working collaboratively with the Music Department and wider school team.
- Attending departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required.
- Helping students develop their musical skills, confidence and passion for the subject.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from passionate Music Teachers who have
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching Music within an educational setting.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- The ability to engage and motivate students across a range of ages and abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply.
