Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in Wigan.
This is a full-time position supporting a Year 2 class, starting at the end of September.
The Role As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping pupils transition through Key Stage 1.
Your day-to-day will involve: Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
Leading small group interventions in Phonics, Literacy, and Numeracy.
Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require extra guidance to reach their milestones.
Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
Helping prepare the children for their end-of-year assessments in a low-pressure, supportive way.
