Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Newark. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with work ranging from individual days to short-term and long-term bookings. We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with flexible working patterns available to suit your availability and preferred year groups.
Responsibilities
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across the Primary National Curriculum
- Maintaining positive behaviour and established classroom routines
- Adapting quickly to different schools, classes and year groups
- Ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day
- Providing feedback and marking work in line with school expectations
- Supporting pupils with differing abilities and additional needs
- Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
- Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A reliable, professional and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references
- Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible
- Right to work in the UK
Teachers undertaking short-term or long-term cover bookings are paid in line with the appropriate teaching pay scale from day one.
