About Our Schools
Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding Primary School in Greenwich who are seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to cover within a Year 6 Class with an emphasis on SATs support. These are great opportunities for experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants who wish to make a difference in the development and learning of pupils.
Skills and Qualities
- Experience supporting children within Key Stage 3 and SEN
- TEAM TEACH or Positive Handling Training would come as an advantage
- Knowledge of positive and adaptive support
- Good understanding of SEN
- Patience and strong communication skills
- Committed
- Desirable: Sound knowledge of core subjects for 1:1 learning when required
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references from the last two years
- Up to date CV with full employment history
- Relevant work experience with SEN children
