SEMH Teacher to join their team ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
The Role
As an SEMH Teacher, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress.
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Promote positive behaviour through restorative and trauma-informed approaches.
- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.
- The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is patient, empathetic and committed to helping every learner achieve their potential.
- Has a flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
