SEMH Teacher to join their team ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

The Role

As an SEMH Teacher, you will

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Promote positive behaviour through restorative and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.
  • The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Is patient, empathetic and committed to helping every learner achieve their potential.
  • Has a flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
