The Opportunity
Start date: 2nd November, immediately after half term
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £180-£280 per day, aligned with the Main to Upper Pay Scale for the London fringe
Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Initially temporary, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate
Your Responsibilities
As the class teacher, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing learning while ensuring each child receives the appropriate level of support and challenge.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate Early Years lessons tailored to pupil's individual needs and abilities.
Creating a structured, inclusive classroom that promotes learning, communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Adapting teaching approaches and resources to support children with ADHD, Autism and other additional needs.
Establishing clear routines and using effective, positive behaviour management strategies.
Monitoring progress, assessing individual development and adapting planning to meet pupil's next steps.
Working with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality provision.
