- Salary: In line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS)

The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons that develop students' physical skills, fitness, confidence and teamwork.
- Teach a range of physical activities and sports across relevant key stages, adapting lessons to meet students' varying abilities and needs.
- Inspire students to participate in sport, embrace physical activity and develop healthy, active lifestyles.
- Promote sportsmanship, resilience, discipline and collaboration through practical lessons and team activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development and achievement.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and safety during practical lessons.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely, following appropriate health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support extracurricular sporting opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised equivalent, where applicable.
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for PE, sport and physical education.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Can deliver dynamic, inclusive lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
