Graduate Cover Supervisor - South Manchester
Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a graduate looking for flexible work in South Manchester, Chorlton, Levenshulme, Didsbury or the surrounding areas? Fancy getting classroom experience while keeping your options flexible?
We are looking for enthusiastic and confident graduates to work as Cover Supervisors on a flexible day-to-day supply basis in secondary schools across South Manchester.
The Role
You will:
Take responsibility for classes when the teacher is absent
Deliver pre-planned lessons and provided resources
Manage behaviour and maintain classroom expectations
Encourage independent learning
Support pupils with their learning
Provide a handover to the class teacher
Typical school hours are 8.20am to 3.20pm, Monday to Friday , with work available on an ad hoc basis.
Previous experience with children or young people is essential. We welcome graduates from a range of backgrounds, including sports coaching, youth work, drama, theatre, community groups, summer camps, PGL, Scouts, Guides and children's clubs .
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum six weeks' experience working with groups of children or teenagers within the last three years
Professional referee who can verify your experience
Legal right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS and professional references
Able to travel to schools at short notice
