- SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the
Glossop area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with additional needs.
The Role
- Working as a
SEND Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with
SEND and additional learning needs .
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide consistent support.
- Helping create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting.
- A
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher is beneficial.
- Patient, nurturing and confident in supporting children with additional needs.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to pupil wellbeing.
- Previous experience in a school or education setting is essential.
