Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Daventry who are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and wants to work within a positive school environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for Science.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work alongside an experienced Science department, contributing to a collaborative team and delivering a broad and engaging curriculum. The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations and make Science accessible and enjoyable.
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- The ability to deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development
- A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach
