Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of primary and secondary schools in Clacton-on-Sea and the surrounding areas , and we are looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated graduates to join our team as Graduate Teaching Assistants.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on school experience, develop your classroom skills and make a genuine difference to young people's lives.
The role:
Supporting pupils in the classroom, either one-to-one, in small groups or alongside the class teacher.
Helping children develop their confidence, engagement and independence.
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND, where required.
Assisting teachers with learning activities and classroom preparation.
Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Gaining valuable experience to support your future career in education.
Who we're looking for:
Graduates with a degree in any subject, particularly those interested in education, psychology, sports, English, maths or child development.
Individuals with a positive, patient and proactive approach.
Strong communicators who enjoy working with children and young people.
Candidates interested in pursuing teacher training or a longer-term career in education.
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
