Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a School Receptionist to join a secondary school in Bolton. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, reception or administrative experience who would enjoy working in a busy school environment. The role As the first point of contact for the school, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment for pupils, parents, staff and visitors. Responsibilities may include: Welcoming visitors and managing the sign-in process. Answering telephone calls, emails and general enquiries. Directing enquiries and taking accurate messages. Liaising with parents, pupils and staff professionally. Supporting general school office administration. Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information. Following school procedures for visitor management and safeguarding. The ideal candidate Previous reception, customer service or administrative experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A friendly, professional and approachable manner. Good organisational skills and basic IT proficiency. The ability to remain calm in a busy environment. Reliability, flexibility and an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
