Pay: £39,196-£58,120 per annum (Outer London MPS/UPS)
A primary school in Bexley are looking for a KS1 Class Teacher to join them on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.
The school are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and can create a well-structured classroom where children feel settled and ready to learn. You will be responsible for your own class and will work closely with the school's support staff.
Main responsibilities:
- Teaching across the KS1 curriculum
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Adapting work to meet individual needs
- Establishing effective classroom routines
- Managing behaviour consistently
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working alongside Teaching Assistants
- Supporting pupils' academic and personal development
The successful candidate will have:
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous UK primary teaching experience
- KS1 experience
- Strong classroom management
- Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- A calm, consistent and approachable manner
