We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major Energy from Waste development in Peterborough on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale industrial build with a strong pipeline of work and a long-term programme.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out for RC frame and associated civils works
- Carrying out accurate surveys using total station equipment
- Producing and maintaining QA documentation
- Working to RAMS and site health & safety procedures
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and design teams
- Checking lines, levels and dimensions on site
- Completing as-built surveys and records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on RC frame projects
- Experience working on heavy civils, industrial or infrastructure projects preferred
- Competent using Leica or Trimble total stations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience completing QA paperwork and working to RAMS
- CSCS card essential
- Engineering qualification preferred
Package:
- £350 per day CIS
- 12 month contract
