Machine Driver Required - Shrewsbury | Immediate Start | 2 Weeks

TradesTech Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Machine Driver for an immediate start on a civil engineering project in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Machine Driver to secure approximately 2 weeks' work with an established contractor.

The Role

  • Operating an 8-tonne 360 excavator safely and efficiently.
  • Loading articulated dumpers.
  • Spreading and levelling topsoil.
  • Carrying out daily plant checks.
  • Working closely with the site team while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo).
  • 360 Excavator Below 10 Tonnes ticket.
  • Lifting Operations endorsement (essential).
  • Previous experience operating 8-tonne excavators on civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Full PPE.
  • Ability to start immediately.

Job Details

  • Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Approximately 2 weeks
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (9-hour shifts)
  • Work: Operating an 8-tonne excavator, loading dumpers and spreading topsoil.
  • Rate: Competitive (DOE)
