We are recruiting an Electrical Improver for a long-term power and substation programme across North Wales, Liverpool and Chester. This Electrical Improver role offers consistent work and the chance to gain valuable experience in electrical infrastructure.
The Electrical Improver will be supporting electricians on outdoor-based substation and power works. This position is ideal for candidates who are reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outside.
There will be times when the Electrical Improver is required to stay away from home — accommodation and travel will be fully provided.
Electrical Improver duties include:- Assisting electricians on substation and power infrastructure works
- Installing containment and pulling cables
- General electrical labouring duties
- Following site safety procedures at all times
- ECS Labourer Card (essential)
- Previous site experience preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors
- Own basic tools and PPE
Long-term work (approx. 2 years). Digs and travel provided when required. Weekly pay.
