Long-Term Opportunity | Telecoms & Civils Sector

Trades Tech Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver / Groundworker for a long-term opportunity within the telecoms and civils sector. The client's main office is based near Hemel Hempstead, but projects are located across the UK. Candidates must therefore be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead and willing to stay away during the working week when required.

This position would suit a well-rounded operative who is confident operating a 360 excavator while also carrying out general groundworks and civils duties when not operating the machine.

The Role

  • Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently
  • General groundworks and civils activities
  • Excavations, trenching and reinstatement works
  • Utilities and ducting installation
  • Telecoms infrastructure and compound builds
  • Drainage and associated groundwork
  • Supporting site crews with installations
  • Carrying out manual groundwork duties when required
  • Working closely with supervisors and site management
  • Travelling to projects across the UK

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience operating a 360 excavator
  • Strong groundworks and civils experience
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket
  • Good all-round site knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable and hardworking attitude
  • Willingness to stay away week-to-week when required
  • Comfortable carrying out groundwork duties when not operating the machine
  • Looking for stable, long-term work
