Trades Tech Recruitment are currently looking for a well‑rounded Groundworker / Civils Operative for a long‑term opportunity within the telecoms and civils sector. We are looking for someone with solid civils experience, a strong work ethic and the willingness to progress into a future PICW / Supervisor role with full support and development provided over time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career within a specialist and growing industry.

The Role

  • General civils and groundwork activities
  • Compound builds and infrastructure works
  • Utilities and ducting works
  • Supporting site installations and crews
  • Plant operations where qualified
  • Working closely with supervisors and management teams
  • Progressing towards taking on more responsibility on site

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop towards a PICW / Supervisor position as they progress within the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • Groundworks / civils experience
  • Good all‑round site knowledge
  • Relevant plant or civils tickets beneficial
  • Driving licence essential
  • Reliable and hardworking attitude
  • Willingness to stay away week‑to‑week when required
  • Someone looking to progress and take on responsibility over time

Beneficial Tickets / Experience

  • Streetworks
  • CAT & Genny
  • CPCS / NPORS Plant Tickets
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (not essential currently)
  • Telecoms or utilities experience advantageous
