We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team in Bristol, working on Section 278 highway works.

This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in highways or civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the successful delivery of Section 278 and other civil engineering projects.

Ensure works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation, company procedures, and client requirements.

Monitor project programmes, quality assurance, and site performance to achieve successful project outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience managing highway or civil engineering projects, ideally including Section 278 works.

HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are essential.

Strong understanding of health & safety legislation, quality assurance, and programme delivery.

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
