About
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support the management of technical and legal information across a fast‐paced food manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance data is accurate, up to date, and effectively communicated across the business to support informed decision-making. You will also help manage supplier assurance systems, track regulatory changes, and support technical projects and audits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a technical/compliance function, with exposure to a wide range of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping track of legislative and technical changes
- Reviewing supplier specifications, checking any legal or retailer compliance
- Maintaining and reviewing supplier documentation
- Conduct gap analysis against legislation, standards, and codes of practice
- Support updates to the QMS
- Ensuring all technical and legal information is accurately maintained, easily accessible and effectively communicated across all departments
- Using various data sources to collate relevant information and ensure supplier assurance
Experience and Skills
- Competent in using databases and digital quality systems
- Food Science graduate (Desirable)
- Good understanding of food law or willingness to develop knowledge
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
