Wessex Chemical Factors Ltd is a UK‑based, family‑run chemical manufacturer established in 1983. We manufacture and supply specialist cleaning and chemical products in‑house, supplying wholesalers, retailers and trade customers across marine, hospitality, transport, plumbing and defence sectors.
This is a varied position combining warehouse operations, stock control and local delivery work. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, dispatched efficiently, and delivered professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Supporting annual stock taking
- Manual handling of materials and stock
- Supporting stock control
- Carrying out local deliveries within BH, DT, SO, PO and SP postcodes
- Ensuring safe and professional customer deliveries
- Completing delivery documentation accurately
- Basic maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklift, ladders, roller shutters)
- Supporting fleet maintenance checks
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Representing the company professionally during deliveries
- Supporting trade customers with collections
- Previous warehouse experience
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Forklift licence
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Good English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Good numeracy skills
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reliable, organised and proactive
