Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical production equipment across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing customer equipment
  • Responding to breakdowns and completing planned maintenance
  • Diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical faults
  • Ensuring all electrical work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Testing completed work and resolving any issues found
  • Producing clear service and customer visit reports
  • Managing company vehicle, tools, and stock
  • Delivering a professional, friendly service to customers
  • Working safely and in line with company and industry H&S standards
  • Staying overnight when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent engineering qualification (electrical bias preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points accepted)
  • Confident working independently in a field service environment
  • Forklift licence desirable (training available)
