Our client is a well-established, design-led bespoke furniture and joinery manufacturer working on high-end residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Designer to support projects from concept through to manufacture and installation.
This is a great opportunity for a technically strong designer who enjoys working closely with workshops, project teams, and external consultants to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The Role
- Producing detailed technical drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery packages
- Translating design intent into fully resolved production-ready drawings
- Liaising with project managers, workshop teams, suppliers, and installers
- Managing drawing revisions and ensuring accuracy throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting problem-solving during manufacture and installation stages
Key Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience producing technical drawings for bespoke furniture and/or joinery
- Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear communication skills and confidence working within a project team
