Seymour John are partnering with a well‑established and growing business, based in Meriden, to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager, to join their dynamic team within a fast‑paced consumer goods and retail environment. This organisation is a well‑established and expanding supplier, delivering both branded and own label products to major customers. With continued growth across new product categories, the supply chain function plays a critical role in driving customer success.

The Opportunity

This is a high impact role with full ownership of the end to end supply chain, offering the chance to shape processes, lead a team, and influence strategic decision making at a senior level. You will work closely with customers and international suppliers, ensuring a highly responsive, efficient, and value driven supply chain operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and optimise end to end supply chain operations across UK and international networks
  • Take ownership of stock management systems
  • Manage UK stockholding and overseas inventory with factory partners
  • Drive forecasting accuracy and ensure clear communication of demand plans to suppliers
  • Monitor stock levels to balance availability and working capital efficiency
  • Analyse sales and customer data to inform supply chain decisions
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance feedback and production scheduling
  • Oversee short term warehousing operations across key UK ports
  • Set KPIs and lead, develop, and mentor a small supply chain team

Personal Profile

  • Strong experience across end to end supply chain management
  • Previous experience operating the Slim4 system
  • Team leadership/line management experience
  • Experience working with international supply chains
  • Background in retail or supplying into major retailers
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
  • Strong analytical capability, including forecasting and inventory optimisation
  • Experience managing budgets and performance metrics
