We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent. The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections throughout the manufacturing process, identifying quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain the highest levels of product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of components and finished products.
  • Verify products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
  • Use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Accurately complete inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Identify, report, and quarantine non‑conforming products where necessary.
  • Support investigations into quality issues and assist with corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, Quality Control, or Inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience using a variety of measuring and inspection equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills for recording inspection data and generating reports.
