This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded Commercial Litigation team in Sheffield, with the support, autonomy and variety that experienced litigators value. You will manage a broad and engaging caseload spanning commercial and civil disputes, working closely with experienced fee earners and collaborating across the wider firm. The team is known for delivering practical, effective advice and for a culture where people are trusted to take ownership of their work, with progression and development genuinely supported.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and progressing your own caseload, including taking on existing matters
- Advising on a wide spread of commercial and civil litigation, including:
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Contract disputes
- Property disputes
- Cohabitation, neighbour and boundary disputes
- Professional negligence
- Intellectual property disputes
- Contentious probate
- Debt recovery
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) in commercial and/or civil litigation
- Ability to manage your own workload effectively, with strong organisation and time management
- Practical, flexible and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
- Strong client care and communication skills
Desirable
- Supervisory or management experience
- Experience across a broad mix of commercial disputes and civil litigation
