An established and growing technology organisation is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and operate a modern, cloud-native platform. You’ll work closely with engineering and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure systems using modern DevOps and GitOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS)
- Build and run Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerised workloads
- Define infrastructure using Terraform following IaC best practices
- Implement GitOps workflows (Argo CD) and manage multi-environment deployments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability and performance
- Apply security best practices across cloud and Kubernetes environments
Required Experience
- Strong experience in ArgoCD & GitOps
- Hands‑on AWS and Kubernetes experience in production
- Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code expertise
- CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Solid Linux and scripting skills
Nice to Have
- EKS at scale, Helm, multi‑account AWS
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications
