Due to recent company changes and a growing client base, we are actively looking for recruitment consultants / senior recruitment consultants to join our rapidly growing MEICA recruitment business where we specialise in placing Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation and automation specialists with our clients on a contract and permanent basis. Many of our clients have been frustrated working with managed agents, stagnant partnerships and internal recruitment teams that no longer serve their needs and they have turned to us to bring a sense of urgency to their MEICA recruitment strategy.

In order for us to continue delivering effectively for our clients, we want to hire experienced and self-motivated recruiters that can work autonomously and offer an outstanding service to our clients and candidates.

The job Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a profitable client base by effectively placing MEICA Specialists with existing and prospect clients across the UK.
  • New Sales / Business Development - Develop & maintain a client prospect list and take personal responsibility for conversion of prospects.
  • Candidate networking - Build & maintain talent pools that are relevant to your clients.
  • Financial Targets - Meet / exceed monthly financial targets.
  • Fee Forecast - You will provide accurate fee forecasts to management.
  • Social Media - Proactively use social media to build a personal brand that is recognised in the MEICA sector.

Typical Candidates

MEICA Specialists. We are looking for recruiters interested in building divisions specialising in the following areas:

  • Instrument Technicians / MEICA Technicians – Contract / Perm / Hybrid
  • Control & Instrumentation Engineers / MEICA Engineers – Contract / Perm / Hybrid
  • Electrical Engineers – Contract / Perm / Hybrid
  • Compex Electricians – Contract / Perm / Hybrid

Essential skills

  • Minimum 5 years recruitment experience.
  • Experience building a business area / leading a team.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong database management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.

Working hours: 9am-4pm Monday-Friday (flexibility can be offered if required).

Location: Our office is based in Ellesmere Port.

Remote Working: Office based, hybrid and remote working options are available. You will be expected to work from the Ellesmere Port office at least 3 days per week, with flexibility for remote working. Our serviced office is available 5 days per week for those who prefer an office environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • £25,000–£30,000 basic salary (depending on experience).
  • Highly competitive uncapped commission structure.
  • Upon successful achievement of monthly target, you can expect an additional £750pcm. This can rise substantially if you overperform against your fee target with our consultants landing up to an additional £2-3,000 commission per month recently.
