Working within the QESH function and reporting to the Quality Engineer Team Lead, the Supplier Quality Engineer supports the team in minimising quality issues across the product range. The role is focused on driving continuous improvement across the supply chain and the broader business environment.

Supplier Quality Engineer Duties
Job Specific
- Assist and support the Quality Manager with effective day-to-day management of supply chain and product quality.
- Coordinate the logging and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented.
- Assist with Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause Analysis.
- Coordinate the communication of technical files and specifications.
- Promote QESH principles and maintain a strong Customer Focus across the business.
- Follow through on quality actions to ensure closure and effectiveness.
- Support rework activities on-site when snags or issues arise with delivered products.
Audits & Reporting
- Conduct internal and supplier audits across the business and wider supply chain.
- Produce and complete reports following supplier visits.
Supplier Quality Engineer Experience:
To be considered for the Supplier Quality Engineer role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing, engineering, or construction-led environment.
- Strong background in mechanical engineering and assembly techniques.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, with awareness of BS EN 1090, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Hold a current CSCS card – SMSTS or SSSTS certification is desirable.
- A formal engineering qualification (a degree is preferred but not essential).
- Internal Auditor qualification for ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor certification is a bonus).
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
Please note: This role requires flexibility for short, regular trips to UK suppliers, as well as frequent travel across Ireland and occasional international travel.
