As the Quality Engineer, you will support all quality activities across the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet customer, regulatory and internal standards. You will work closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to maintain robust quality systems and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support internal and external audits, maintaining ISO/AS quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing
- Develop and update quality documentation, SOPs and work instructions
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality concerns
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide shop floor support and guidance to ensure adherence to quality processes
About You
- Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality role within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC and RCA
- Experience working to ISO 9001 or similar standards
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
