We are looking for an experienced Social Housing Property Manager to oversee a diverse social housing and temporary accommodation portfolio. The role requires ensuring compliance, coordinating repairs, supporting tenants, and maintaining strong relationships with councils, contractors, and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Managing a large portfolio of social housing and temporary accommodation properties
  • Ensuring compliance with landlord obligations and Council requirements
  • Arranging safety inspections, repairs, and remedial works
  • Responding promptly to emergency maintenance, security issues, and service failures
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the Council, tenants, and contractors
  • Handling tenant concerns, complaints, and urgent situations professionally
  • Carrying out mid-term inspections, inventories, and check-out reports
  • Coordinating void turnaround works to meet Council deadlines
  • Liaising with utility suppliers and internal accounts teams
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records
  • Organising and overseeing caretakers and maintenance staff schedules
