We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join a leading organisation in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry. The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Project Management and take ownership of projects from initiation to closure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading projects across new product development, product lifecycle management, and strategic business improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and status reports using established project management processes and systems.
  • Managing risks, issues, and change control processes effectively to ensure project success.
  • Driving continuous improvement and implementing lessons learned across projects.
  • Supporting portfolio management and contributing to company‑wide initiatives.
  • Presenting at internal and external meetings, ensuring clear and effective stakeholder communication.

The Person:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • A relevant third‑level qualification, preferably with a strong scientific focus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross‑functional matrix teams effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and processes.
  • A results‑driven mindset with the ability to drive change at all levels to accelerate project plans.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
  • Prince2/PMP Project Management Certification (or similar standard).
  • Experience managing people.
