We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join a well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturing company in Northwest London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader or someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced food production environment. You will be working alongside the Production Supervisor, leading a small team whilst remaining hands on.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and motivating a small production team
  • Producing high-quality products to specification
  • Training team members and supporting their development
  • Operating and monitoring bakery and cooking equipment safely
  • Ensuring production plans and KPI targets are met
  • Accurately preparing and weighing ingredients
  • Following recipes, SOPs, and production orders
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality
  • Completing production logs and quality checks
  • Supporting line changeovers and cleaning between runs
  • Identifying and reporting faults or issues quickly
  • Driving continuous improvement on production lines

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Team Leader (or line leader)
  • Ready to take the next step in responsibility and accountability
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain strict quality standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene (preferred but not essential)

Working Environment:

  • Hands-on role in both hot and cold production areas
  • Working with gluten and allergens
  • Lifting up to 25kg (with support/equipment)
  • On your feet for extended periods
  • Occasional flexibility required (e.g. weekend shifts during peak periods)
