A leading international law firm is seeking to strengthen its London practice with the appointment of a Derivatives and Structured Finance Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for a high‑calibre Derivatives and Structured Finance Associate with 18 months to 4 years’ PQE to take on a visible, responsibility‑led role within a collaborative and growing team. The role is well suited to an associate who has already developed a strong technical foundation and is keen to broaden their exposure across complex derivatives and structured products within a sophisticated international platform.
The successful Derivatives and Structured Finance Associate will play a key role advising on a wide range of complex derivatives and structured finance matters. This includes substantial involvement in ISDA documentation and structured products, alongside meaningful exposure to the wider debt finance practice, particularly corporate finance and leveraged finance transactions. The team operates at the highest level of the market, advising major financial institutions, funds and corporate clients on technically demanding, cross‑border matters.
Candidate Profile
- A UK‑trained and qualified solicitor with 18 months–4 years’ PQE
- Background at a Magic Circle firm or comparable international firm with a top‑tier structured finance practice
- Strong experience in derivatives and structured products, including ISDA documentation
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience in loan products or acquisition finance advantageous but not essential
- Outstanding academic record
- Commercially minded, adaptable and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy
