We are excited to support our client with this opportunity that has arisen for a Parts Logistics Coordinator to join their Liskeard team, supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy aviation parts department. This role is key to the effective processing, control and movement of aircraft components, supporting activities including part-out, quarantine, repairs, Cornwall Air Ambulance support, and sales operations.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Parts & Inventory Processing
- Assisting with part-out activity, including identification, processing and movement of removed components.
- Managing and maintaining quarantine areas, ensuring unserviceable parts are correctly segregated and controlled.
- Supporting the processing of repairs and returns to vendors and repair stations.
- Supporting the process of core returns and advising accounts on exchange outcomes.
- Booking material into stock and ensuring accurate system updates.
- Supporting ordering and processing of FCP (Full Component Plan) and Warranty returns.
- Sales & Dispatch Support
- Assisting the sales team with booking material in, preparing items for sale and supporting order processing.
- Picking, packing and dispatching aircraft spares to customers as required.
- Preparing and checking shipping paperwork for domestic and international shipments.
- Ensuring parts are correctly packaged in line with aviation and shipping requirements.
- General Stores & Logistics Duties
- Listing, storing and dispatching of aircraft spares.
- Procuring materials from suppliers in line with instructions.
- Goods receiving, checking deliveries against paperwork and raising any discrepancies.
- Supporting the overall running of a busy parts department.
- PC literate and numerate, with confidence using systems and basic software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and confident phone manner.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also being comfortable working independently.
- Physically fit, as lifting and moving of items is an essential part of the role.
- Must hold a valid United Kingdom driving licence.
- Previous experience in a bonded stores, warehouse or logistics environment.
- An interest in technical or aviation parts.
- Previous exposure to regulated or compliance-driven industries.
- Organised, methodical and process driven.
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage workload effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Safety-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willing to learn and develop within the role.
This role is based on-site at Liskeard and involves working closely with engineering, stores, sales and logistics functions to support aircraft maintenance and operations. The position involves both desk-based administration and physical handling of aircraft components.
